Mish Event: A Day of Cybersecurity Knowledge and Fun at Mish Hackers

On February 24, 2025, Mish Hackers, the official student community of the Faculty of Computers and Information, organized a special event titled “Mish Event”, combining technical knowledge with an engaging and enjoyable atmosphere

Cybersecurity Awareness Session

The day started with an educational session focused on Cybersecurity, where students were introduced to essential topics, including:

  • The main fields of cybersecurity

  • Common hacking techniques and attack methods

  • The first steps to start a career in cybersecurity

To enhance understanding and interaction, the session included a live practical demonstration of a hacking process, which significantly increased audience engagement and curiosity about the field.

Interactive Activities and Rewards

At the end of the session, prizes were awarded to the most active participants, encouraging interaction and knowledge sharing.
The event then continued with a lighter segment featuring games and photography in the faculty hall, providing students with a fun and memorable conclusion to the day.

Session Speakers

The session was presented by:

  • Hazem Ahmed – Fourth-year Computer Science student

  • Abdullah Tahoon – Third-year Computer Science student

Both speakers made a remarkable effort to deliver valuable, clear, and practical content, supporting students who are passionate about cybersecurity and technology.

Event Leadership and Team Effort

The event was led by Yahia Elbanna, Vice Head of the Team, and Mohamed Abdelmaksoud, Head of the IT Committee, with the active participation of all Mish Hackers committees and their members.
This collective effort played a key role in delivering a well-organized and successful event that reflects the team’s vision and dedication
